Educational project – “sound experience” - The Orchestra's instruments 

Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra in collaboration with the supervision of music education

Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra has in the past 10 years a unique educational program “sound experience” encompassing thousands of students across the country the number of authorities: Netanya, Bat Yam, Petah Tikva, Kfar Saba, Rosh recently joined the city of Holon. The program has received the support of music education Supervision Ministry of Education Wessel national culture.
This gives the orchestra for children in grades D, for the first time, an opportunity to be exposed to the rich and fascinating world of classical music. The project began thanks to professional cooperation between the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, under the musical direction at the time of Yaron Gottfried, the late Dr. Yael Shay, who had music from the National Education Ministry.
This gives the orchestra for children in grades D, for the first time, an opportunity to be exposed to the rich and fascinating world of classical music, through the plan “sound experience”.

The purpose of the
Exposing children of elementary schools for a live classical music and providing tools for listening to a concert .
Goals
A. Knowledge of the instruments in the orchestra foundations , groups and characteristics of different tools with reference to the similarities and differences .
B. Knowledge of composers and their works while distinguishing characteristics of isolated musical demonstrations by musicians .
C . Understanding the interaction of musical instruments orchestra and its contribution to the creation of social communication .

Courses of action:
The program , built a continuous educational process , spread over four years during which the students receive –
The first step – by teachers at the School of Music , the foundations of the instruments in the orchestra , groups and characteristics of different instruments , composers and works of different periods and styles .
The second step – 3-4 ensembles of the orchestra musicians come from different school grades and editors explained in a chamber concert based on works studied in class and includes an introduction
Close to the musicians and their instruments are . Chamber ensembles including a string trio and brass trios .
third stage as the culmination of the process , students come from all classes and concert hall experience the full orchestral concert experience together .

The project
The number of students participating in the project in the current season 2014-15 , including over 23,000 students .
No. There will be over 244 orchestral and chamber concerts during the school year .
